TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Access and Entry the Client agrees to provide the Provider with access to the property on the scheduled service date. If the Provider is unable to access the property (e.g., locked gates, incorrect key codes, changed locks) upon arrival, a Lockout Fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service rate will be charged.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Notice: The Client must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service.
Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of $50.00.
Same-Day Cancellation: Cancellations made on the day of service or upon arrival will be charged 100% of the service rate.
3. Payment Terms
Due Date: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service, unless a net-15 or net-30 arrangement has been approved in writing for commercial accounts.
Late Fees: Invoices unpaid after 7 days and will incur a late fee of 10% per month after 3rd day late.
Returned Checks: Any returned checks or declined credit card payments will incur a $35.00 processing fee.
4. Client-Provided Supplies & Equipment (Critical for STRs)
Suitability: Where the Client provides cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuums, mops, chemicals), the Client warrants that all equipment is in safe, working order.
Outcome Disclaimer: The Provider is not responsible for the quality of the clean if the Client’s supplies are inadequate (e.g., vacuum has no suction, mop is dirty, insufficient cleaning solution provided).
Damage Waiver: The Provider is not liable for any damage to the Client’s property caused by the use of the Client’s own equipment or chemicals (e.g., a scratch on the floor from the Client’s vacuum or bleaching from the Client’s provided chemicals).
5. Liability and Damages
Breakage: The Provider takes great care when cleaning. In the event of accidental damage, the Provider will notify the Client immediately. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement cost of the item, capped at $200.00 per item.
Exclusions: The Provider is not liable for damage due to:
Improperly secured items (e.g., heavy pictures hanging on weak hooks, wobbly legs on antiques).
Normal wear and tear (e.g., blinds breaking due to age).
Existing damage found upon arrival.
6. Safety and Hazards
Climate Control: The property must have functioned air conditioning or heating. The Provider reserves the right to cancel the service (with full payment due) if the indoor temperature is unsafe (above 78°F or below 60°F).
Biohazards: The Provider will not clean human or animal feces, vomit, blood, or mold. If these are encountered, the Provider will clean around the area or vacate the premises, and the full service fee will still apply.
Heavy Lifting: Employees will not move furniture weighing more than 35 lbs to prevent injury.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
Re-Clean Policy: If the Client is dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, they must notify the Provider within 24 hours of completion. The Provider will return to re-clean the specific area at no additional cost.
No Refunds: Refunds are not offered; only re-cleans.
8. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
Acceptance of Terms: By subscribing to our services and allowing the Provider Ray and Lays Galveston County Cleaning Service LLC access to the property, the Client is deemed to have accepted all these Terms and Conditions.
